The waning future of our earth

There is quite a lot of talk about global warning these days, as well as the immediate and long term effects of it. What exactly is global warming and why does it even matter? Simply put, global warming is the build up of carbon dioxide and other air pollutants that cause a thickening of the atmosphere. This traps the heat from the sun and makes the planet warm up. As the temperature rises, it causes some very bad things to happen to the Earth. These include dirty air, more fires, stronger and more destructive storms, flooding, and spread of diseases.

As the planet grows hotter, the problems associated with global warming will become much worse. This is the Earth that is being left to future generations. When thinking of your children, as well as their children, you should want to do everything possible to at least slow down the problem, if resolving it totally is not an option. You can do your part by starting today to become educated in ways to help to keep global warming from destroying your planet.
